Grady Little Is His Own Manager

From a chat transcript with Grady Little posted at Dodgers.com:

truebloo: Do you get any managing tips from Tommy Lasorda?

Little: No. I have a lot of respect for Tommy Lasorda and everything he's done for the game of baseball and what he's doing now for the Dodgers and baseball. I don't give him tips on that and he doesn't give me tips on being a manager.

Great answer. Coming from Grady's mouth, I know that statement wouldn't seem as defensive as it might on the page, but it remains a firm yet tactful way to address Tommy's legacy (some would say overshadowing) that every Dodger manager since 1996 has had to deal with.
