Grady Little won't mention which starting pitcher is the 1, 2, or 3. But as Ken Gurnick hinted yesterday, Derek Lowe is indeed the Opening Day pitcher for the Dodgers, according to ESPN.com. (MLB.com posts the same news.)
Also interesting about this piece is that Randy Wolf gets mentioned right after Brad Penny and Jason Schmidt as not-yet-determined-in-the-rotation. Guess Grady better not name the "4" pitcher, either.

Glad they straightened that out—we were running out of "Lowe" puns.
Speak for yourself. I've got a whole Lowed of them.
A whole Schmidt-Lowed?
[golf clap.]
But seriously folks, shouldn't we wait until, say a couple of spring training games have been played before Grady starts wondering who should (or, in Mark Hendrickson's case, should not) be the opening day pitcher?
Nah. All Grady needed was the lines from Lowe's last two Opening Days:
2005 (Loss): 7 IP, 8 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 6 SO. By the way, winning pitcher was Jason Schmidt of SF.
2006 (Loss): 5 IP, 9 H, 8 R, 7 ER, 1 BB, 2 SO.
This is not trending well.
