Game 115 Thread: Aug. 6 @ Angels, 7p

Dan Haren (8-9, 4.76) vs. Matt Shoemaker (9-3, 4.09).

It's the Dan Haren Guarantee: He pitches, the opponent homers. In 22 starts this year, Haren has given up 22 home runs. That works out to...carry the one...one home run per start! To be fair, some starts Haren doesn't give up a home run. Then again, some starts he gives up two. So it all evens out.

Against the Orange Curtain's Murderer's Row of Trout, Pujols and Hamilton, we don't expect Haren to wriggle through this outing unscathed, so the Dodger bats are going to have to lace some hits against Shoemaker so the team can stay in sole possession of first place.

Puig walks. AGon, FIRST-PITCH SWINGING, grounds out. AWO

When we had them on the ropes back in the top of the second, we didn't finish the job. Haren is going to need more than a two-run cushion.

Guess I missed a Matty homer? I thought I heard my MKW sisters singing.
