Roberto Hernandez (7-8, 3.72) vs. Eric Stults (5-13, 4.64).
Current Dodger Hernandez takes on former Dodger Stults on Zanky Bobblehead Night. Never mind that Greinke's scheduled start tomorrow is in jeopardy, baby — here's a compelling nuggest via STATS LLC/ESPN.com: "The Los Angeles Dodgers own baseball's best record against left-handed starters as they face one who is among the majors' leaders in defeats."
So yeah, we pretty much gotta win this one, folks. And guess what? Tonight's game is on ESPN, so we can actually watch it!

Tuck in yer shirt, Fausto!
Word is that Zanky will not make the start tomorrow but will start on Saturday. Kershaw goes tomorrow.
Season ticket for Thursday, engage.
This is a first-place team?
PGT UP!
Fausto should not be wearing the number 55.
This hick ESPN reporter is saying he saw Kemp yesterday after BP, and Kemp nearly had tears in his eyes talking about how he may never be able to run the same after his surgery. This reporting did not pass my smell test. I don't doubt Kemp is slowed, possibly forever, but nearly crying and telling that to some hack reporter doesn't sound likely.
already down 3-0
Well, this has been a moderately fun season. Time to get ready for next year.
[Hoping Karina doesn't read that]
Welp, we're still sucking. Glad we get to watch this game, though. (cries)
Are you Matt Kemp?
I'm apparently faster than Matt Kemp.
That Garret Richards injury - yikes. Feel bad for the guy.
My god we suck. I mean we as commenters suck.
Kemp up repping the tying run...let's see how it plays out
Fans on TV feigning excitement
Poop.
HEY GUYS I JUST TURNED ON THE TV BEFORE THAT KEMP SWING SORRY
Ok goodnight everybody
Mother fucker.
This team is way better than it has been playing. This team is not as good as its record shows. #Paradox
Wait, why the hell was Crawford not playing tonight? He's only the hottest hitter the last few games.
Wait, why was the lineup not posted?
It's a whole big cluster of bad shit happening at once:
Ryu, Hanley, and Uribe all hit the DL at the same time. That forces Turner to start, when he's better off the bench. Defense gets an upgrade with EA and Rojas, but offense takes a hit. The starters that are still healthy aren't going deep. That's going to lead to bullpen meltdowns. Now the Greinke weirdness. Plus Kemp has cooled off, Puig seems(?) to be struggling. And Ethier continues to be a non-entity.
HOLY SHIT THAT'S A LOT. And I'm sure I missed stuff.
Oh yeah, A.J. is toast.
And there's hot hitter Carl nearly GIDPing.
Giants won, too, so this would drop us to 3.5 games again with 34 to play
Barney 2B
Puig CF
Gonzo 1B
Kemp RF
Van Slyke LF
Turner 3B
Arruebarrena SS
Ellis C
Hernandez P
(ducks)
Nomo said "hot Carl".
I know why we lost!
Accidental period instead of comma in the GT after "Padres" and before "7p"
Not to shit on this party further, but the lead is actually 3, since the Giants won their whiny bitch protest and the game against the Cubs from yesterday is still in progress.
Though, they should still lose that game tomorrow. HERE'S HOPIN'!
Sure thing, Gnomes. ANd that party-shitting point will be my last to think about before I go to bed.
I need to do better, gotta watch more games, starting tonight.
As for tonight, 4-2 Padres, Clayton pitches fine but the bullpen blows a late tie. We'll be lucky to get 2 off Ross
PGTUP!
