Hang with Kershaw for a Mere $2K

We got an email from Gavin Guidry at Jackson Spalding:

Adam Wainwright recently started Big League Impact, an organization pairing MLB stars with fans, giving them the opportunity to play together in a fantasy football league while making a difference in their communities. All of the proceeds from BLI go to the charities of the player’s choice along with the Big League Impact Basic Needs Initiative. Currently, this year’s players include Clayton Kershaw, Cole Hamels, Tim Hudson, Freddie Freeman, Max Sherzer, Adam Wainwright, Neil Walker, Justin Masterson and Skip Shumaker.

I am touching base with you because the draft day for “Big Blue”, Clayton Kershaw’s league, is coming up on August 22nd at Dodgers Stadium. I thought some of your readers would love the chance to take part in an event like this: playing fantasy football alongside some of their favorite baseball players, including A.J. Ellis, Brian Wilson, Chris Perez and Paul Maholm. Other benefits of signing up include a behind the scenes tour of Dodgers Stadium, a ticket to the Freeway Series game on draft day, special access to batting practice and more.

It would be great if you could make a post to your site or Facebook/Twitter. To tag online, the Twitter handle is @BigLeagueImpact and you can find them at facebook.com/BigLeagueImpact. If you would like to direct your readers to Clayton’s signup page, you can use this link: http://www.bigleagueimpact.org/events/big-blue.

For even more information, you can take a look at this article that USA Today wrote today about Clayton’s team.
