It's a pre-emptive PGT! Thanks to Fred's Brim for nailing the current state of the Dodgers — we've taken the liberty of mocking it up for the Dodgers' marketing department (above).
Remember when the Dodgers dropped two of three to the Cubs and we were all freaking out about how they couldn't beat bad teams? Well, the Boys in Blue have taken that criticism to heart — they're now losing to good teams too, getting swept by the first-place Brewers in a series in which Kershaw and Greinke started. Add that to our DL woes, and those World Series predictions seem as ill-advised as handing the division to the Giants in June.
Haren reverted to terrible status, allowing six runs over three innings. The Dodgers bats were predictably lifeless, and the Giants are currently beating the Phillies. Good times....

boo
since, we stink so bad against NL Central teams, it may be worth noting that we play 4 games vs the Cubs during the third week of September. Hopefully we'll clinch before we lose 3 of those 4
not sure why there was an extra comma in there
and I don't care when we clinch as long as we do. I just don't think my heart could take it if we go into the Cubs series within a couple of games. I just don't want to have to beat them
I've got a bad feeling about this.
