It's been well documented, both here and on Twitter, that I am an AT&T UVerse subscriber. UVerse, of course, does not carry SportsNet LA yet. I don't live in an area where I have the option of switching to Time Warner Cable (and I'm not sure I'd want to even if I could), so I'm left with no choice but to request the channel over and over.
I've gone through the usual means: INeedMyDodgers.com (I guess I didn't win the season tickets.), UVerse's channel request survey, even good old hashtags.
But last night, I was on a chat with a UVerse rep for a different issue (I've been having problems with slow internet), so I thought I'd take a shot at another approach.
There you have it! If/when SportsNet LA shows up in UVerse's lineup in the next few days, you'll all have my main man(?) Karthik to thank. Who else has the power to "cascade" requests to "higher level?"
Though, I think his tech support advice is a tad suspect...
