CARDINALS 5, DODGERS 1

Just a few more road wins, and the Dodgers would have made the record books.  Instead, with our ace on the mound, we end the road winning streak at 15 with a 1-5 loss to the Cardinals.  You can't blame our ace though, as he once again pitched great allowing only 2 runs.  He was lifted early in order to try and get some more offensive punch to the lineup, but it didn't work.

Then, with the Dodgers down by only one run heading into the bottom of the 8th, Brandon League came in and tossed some batting practice to Carlos Beltran and Matt Adams, whom both proceeded to hit home runs that extended the Cardinal lead.  Well, it was fun while it lasted.  Let's start another winning streak tomorrow!

I had forgotten what a short trip it was from fun to frustration.
