Post-Game 119 Thread: 2 and 2 Off Harvey? Keen!

DODGERS 4, METS 2

I guess little ponies are better in a fight than giant invisible rabbits. Through four innings, the Dodgers looked like they were buying into the Harvey hype. Then, in the fifth, up stepped Nick Punto with two on and one out. He stroked a double to left, scoring A.J. Ellis and Juan Uribe (assisted by a Puig-esque overthrow by EY Jr.)

The Dodgers added two more off Harvey in the sixth, when an A.J. Ellis single scored Mark Ellis and Puig.

Hyun-Jin Ryu was again stellar (on National Left-Handers Day, no less), allowing just one run (a home run to Juan Lagares in the first) in seven strong innings. Belisario pitched a scoreless eighth. Kenley Jansen looked a tad more human, giving up a walk and an RBI single (after defensive indifference), but still locked down the save.

Dodgers have now won 39 of their last 47. This is getting ridiculous. In a good way.

Sure, you all bitch that there's no PGT, and then don't show up when it gets posted.

I see how it is.

And...fwiw

We like PGT shortly after the game so we can BASK in the victory's glowing embers.

Law of diminished returns the longer you wait to post.
