Clayton Kershaw (12-7, 1.80) vs. Henderson Alvarez (2-2, 3.41).
"Giancarlo Stanton homered off Kershaw the last time they met on Aug. 25, 2012, and is hitting .385 with five home runs in his last six games against the Dodgers," ESPN tells us. Normally I take this to mean "Pitch around Stanton," but I imagine Kershaw will do no such thing.
The Dodgers have gone 18 straight series without losing one, and this morning's game ends the road trip and sends the Dodgers back to Chavez Ravine for the highly anticipated matchup against the Red Sox. So: happy flight. And remember: Gotta keep pitching.
