Poll: Choose The Next Off-Season Competition!

So I have two potential competition concepts under development. Both are somewhere in the Phase III clinical trial stage, but limited resources are requiring us to choose which one to try to get over the goal line.

Thus, I'm asking the actual competitors (you guys) which one we should pick. But...I'm not sharing anything about either concept except its name. All else will be revealed in time.

Which SoSG off-season competition would you rather play?
"The Gauntlet"
"My Broheim"

PS The competition will probably begin in January.

Which game involves more killing?

That's the spirit, Mr F!

Shockingly, Brett Favre is the frequent topic of conversation tonight on Monday Night Football. Can we get back to talking about Derek Jeter now?

Paul, you just went ahead and beat me. Blood on your hands, brother, blood on your hands.

I'm done with two Cutler touchdowns, too. Well, played, Ditty.

My dog will not acknowledge me today and my Fresno State Bulldog bobblehead is crying blood. I wonder what is going on...

I'll take Vick if you feel too guilty to hold him, Paul.

Y'know, because I'm your friend and all that.

Is the prize a contract to play left field for the Dodgers?

Also, happy birthday, FB. Your prize is not a contract per se, but if can hit left handed pitching, you might be able to score a camp invite (Crystal Lake Camp, but still...)

Also, DB and Sax can battle it out over who gets to recap the fantasy results.

Just checked the FF scores. I can't believe Dusty was knocked out! The playoffs are so cruel!

Steve Sax said...

@EK: I think we can find funding for both contests....

These ESPN videos that you think are going to show you NFL highlights but end up showing you two talking heads behind a desk are TOTALLY KILLING ME. I'm learning not to click on any of your stupid non-highlight video links, ESPN.

Idiots.

A friend briefly worked as an editor for the clip videos on espn.com. He took perverse pleasure in how skewed he could make the highlight-to-unrelated content ratio. He once posted a game highlight video of a MNF Cowboys loss that featured about 15 seconds of game footage from a camara that was focused on the cheerleaders along with the remaining 5 seconds showing clips of John Maddon saying "boom!" He still sometimes wonders why he was fired so quickly.

@Jason: SoSG is hiring. We want that guy.

Agreed, Mr C - Valkyrie had the best combination of speed and power. Plus she was easy on the eyes

Happy Birthday Mrs Josh!

@DB - i am indeed older but I get more and more immature every year. Seriously I think I peaked when I was 23.

And thank you, Jason! I'll take it. I heard the girls at that camp are very frisky!
