Geez, Not Again

This is actually a sad note...Umpire Kerwin Danley, who was hit by a Brad Penny fastball on April 26 at Dodger Stadium, was on his own rehab start in Las Vegas on Saturday night when he was hit in the chin by a warm-up pitch and, after an 11-minute delay, was taken off the field and did not return.

The appearance was Danley's second on what was expected to be a seven-game rehab assignement for him. It was his first trip behind the plate since being hurt at Dodger Stadium.
