Dodgers: Billingsley backed away from hard-throwing and did a good job of pitching in Coors Field, allowing two runs in 5 1/3 innings. His fastball was clocked three to four miles an hour slower than usual, but he used more cutters and breaking balls while avoiding the big inning. Lack of run support led to a loss that snapped a personal four-game win streak.D'backs: Gonzalez has been a different pitcher in the starting rotation this season than in the bullpen. His ERA working in relief is 5.58 in 20 games, but in 10 starts he has posted a 3.90 mark. Since returning to starting work, which is where he began this season, Gonzalez has allowed just one run in each of his last two outings.
COMMENTS: The playoff odds statistic has been retired; who the hell are we kidding. At this stage, we're just looking for tabloid fodder from the clubhouse and to see if Grady sleepwalks his way to pencilling another predictable lineup card.

Mike Cameron is hurt on a fly ball collision; then Milton Bradley flips out on an ump's call and while arguing the call, Bud Black restrains him but injures his knee in the process. And, the Rockies are winning.

One out in the sixth and bases loaded and the dodgers up 5-1. Bills Ks Snyder for the second out, and Grady inexplicably comes out and hooks Billingsley?!?! After only 93 pitches?
Why did Abreu get pulled for Valdez?
Just saw the Bradley implosion - Was hilarious - he got hurt when the manager threw him to the ground! I am so glad he isn't on the dodgers - what a head case - and to blow up when he was ON BASE!
