LA Times columnist Steve Lopez challenged Derek Lowe to see who could hit a golf ball out of Dodger Stadium first, with the results going to charity (CASA of Los Angeles and Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA). Check out the article and video here (site registration occasionally required).
Derek Lowe seems like a fun guy, reminding me of a pre-suicide attempt Owen Wilson.

I can't wait for the Russell Martin / Steve Lopez PSP Showdown. Or maybe Takashi Saito and Jonathan Broxton vs. Olmedo Saenz and Lopez in a three-legged race.
