As it seems football has supplanted baseball as America's national pastime, it was heartening to see 6-4-2's link to this graph comparing the past six years of traffic to the official websites of the four major professional sports.
Of course, website hits represent only a small fraction of a sport's popularity, but I was still surprised to see MLB.com keeping pace with—and sometimes exceeding—NFL.com's traffic.
