Well faithful fans, the time is here. This is what we've been waiting for all season. We've put our Blue blood, our sweat, and of course our tears (cc: Mr. F), into supporting the team through thick and thin, day in and day out, from Spring til Fall, and now it's paid off. The playoffs are here. We did it. Who knew back in April and May and, well, a lot of June, when we were flailing about like Fred's Brim trying to get the barman's attention in a crowded Brooklyn bar, that we would end up going on an historic 42-8 run, leaving the Dbags in the dust and peeing in their pool.
But now it's nervous time. Time to put on those game faces. Sure, we're confident in our starting rotation beginning with Kid K, Greinke, and Ryu. Sure, we have some offensive firepower in Crawford, Ramirez, A-Gon, and even Uribe. Sure, the bullpen has been a big part of our success. But Kemp is crutched. Ethier is only available to pinch hit. Puig is Puigless these days. The offense sputtered late.
Look, this is what we live for. You gotta be in it to win it. Anything is possible. It all starts with Kershaw, and there's no one I'd rather have starting Game 1 than him. We got this....right?

@Paul - I watched at home with Mrs FB. I was too nervous to watch it out. I need to figure out tonight's game though. I am supposed to hang out with some of Mrs FB's friends but I hope they understand when I sneak away to watch the game
