Detroit's Justin Verlander goes up against Oakland's Sonny Gray in a Game 5 for the right to face the Red Sox. I have to think that the Tigers would be a better matchup against Boston, so I suppose I'm rooting for them.

local TV is showing Homer at the Bat. I'll be watching that for the next 30 minutes
Buck Martinez laughs after everything he says
Saxy plays bass!
Mattingly, get rid of those sideburns!
What sideburns!
You heard me, hippie!
you don't know when to keep your mouth shut, do you Saxy boy!
I want you to remember some inspiring words that someone else might have told you over the course of your lives
I am hoping Verlander gives up a hit soon so I can go to bed

goodnight, all
3-0 Detroit in the seventh
Whoops, make that bottom of the eighth
Red Sox-Tigers and Cardinals-Dodgers. Somewhere Bud Selig is jizzing himself. I would have preferred to see the A's and Pirates get through, but I'll admit that I've had more than my fill of these annoying "wacky" fan bases in Oakland and Pittsburgh.
Still hate Prince Fielder for his attempt to get in the Dodgers clubhouse.
The nerves are back. On to Game 1.
