Having an off-day to simmer, one day after getting jobbed by a horrible call and then losing on a walk-off home run, can be a difficult experience. All I can do is dwell on our loss thanks to Scott Elbert's pitch and Jason Giambi's bat. And it hurts....
No, wait a second! I suppose I can also take comfort in the fact that San Francisco also lost a heartbreaker yesterday, tying it in the bottom of the ninth only to lose to the Marlins in the tenth! And why not follow that up by watching Anibel Sanchez (1-0, 2.73) face Ryan Vogelsong (0-1, 4.19), a pitcher so unloved that ESPN.com has him with a Pirates hat (Vogelsong hasn't played for the Pirates since 2006).
Dodgers open today with a four-game lead on the Diamondbacks (who play the Nationals tonight), and a 4.5 game lead on both the Giants and the Rockies.

is blogger buggy for you guys again, too?
Just read that Kung Fat Panda has broken hand. 15 day DL. Same bone (different hand) that kept him out 41 games last season.
Sorry if this is old news...just checking in during a mtg.
Yeah blogger does seem a little fragile at the moment.
Blogger: fragile like a KFP
Top 6: Marlins 2, Giants 0
2-1. Sanchez falling apart here in B6, three straight hits
Scratch that, it was two leadoff hits and then Cabrera hit into a scoring DP. Oyster Pubes then came up and flied to right on the third pitch.
2-1 Marlins, through six full
I may be the only one scoreboard watching.
I really should get a job.
I'm watching the Dodgers' scoreboard. Nothing seems to be happening.
I'm watching your comments, Sax.
Who watches the watchmen?
Final: Marlins 3, Giants 2.
And I know the box says 41K were there, but the highlights seem to show a lot of empty seats. Plus, everyone seemed to have left early (in a 3-2 game, no less).
SF fans, always leaving early.
Throw at Cargo!
From Chicago.
MIKE MACDOUGAL IS GONE!

Wut?
That's unexpected!
Not that he was particularly good, just unexpected.
