(No) More Night

Against All Odds, Phil Collins has left the building. And after receiving a PERSONAL email from the former Genesis percussionist, I felt it my obligation to spread his gospel. (Though the Sons tend to travel more in the Land of Oates and Hall, we try to keep our readers abreast of breaking pop culture news.)

WINNING news this ain't. Phil was actually my first concert. Since that one April night 20 years ago, I have evolved into a far more sophisticated music aficionado. For instance, I saw Sebadoh last weekend at the EchoPlex (just writing that sentence borders me on hipster type). Over the years, my addiction for all things Phil waned, yet his music reamined like the stump in the Giving Tree.. forever there to lean on.
