Chris Capuano (11-10, 3.59) vs. Joe Kelly (5-6, 3.51).
No offense, but we're pretty damn good at this no offense thing. And if the Dodgers don't care about advancing runners around that second-base bend thingy back toward home plate, it's hard for fans to rally around this team, too. We haven't scored more than five runs in over two weeks (and we won that game, btw).
The Dodgers have lost seven of our last eight, and we're running out of time to make up that 7.5-game gap with the Giants (I can't even type that without laughing hysterically. And sobbing.). The Cardinals are vying for a playoff spot, while we're looking for someplace safe to hide. So let's throw Capuano out there to the wolves tonight, as he's gone 2-8 since his 9-2 start, and hasn't had a win since August 12. No offense, but I'm expecting...no offense.
