Josh Beckett (6-14, 4.76) vs Jorge De La Rosa (0-1, 9.45).
Beckett hasn't received enough run support in his tenure as a Dodger, but things should be different today as the NewLook™ Dodger Offense looks to do some damage against De La Rosa, newly recovered from Tommy John surgery. The Cards play the Nats starting at 11:15 PT, so there'll be some scoreboard watching prior to this game. Playoffs? PLAYOFFS!

What do the numbers next to their names mean?
Hits they're getting in this game.
Shit. 5-0 Cards.
Now it's 7-0 Cards
Nats coming back, 9-4 in the sixth
Not quite, Sax. They WERE coming back 7-4, but then Cards got 2 more.
Stupidass Nats
Awesomeass Matty
Goddammit, why haven't we played like this all year long?
Or even all month?
7-1 Dodgers
AJ with the tater! We're creeping on 8 runs again
@Saxy - I think we started hitting once the pressure of not losing went away. That and playing a shitty Double-A team
what kills me about this season is that we just had to be mediocre (as opposed to horrible) during our extended batting slumps and we'd be in the playoffs
What do we gotta do to keep Belli out of trouble this offseason?
Fuck all Cardinals, too. Football and baseball. Football's D is killing me in fantasy football.
Cruzo Ardiendo!
well said, Cliffy!
Rancho Drediendo after the Cruz K
Wow - thought Ortega was gonna muff that one
This season wasn't the most enjoyable one ever, but I am still gonna miss it. I am not ready for it to be over
I say we keep Jamey Wright if we can get him for the same price. I like him as a less stoney Weaverish mopup guy
@FB, yeah, I mean I wasn't expecting PLAYOFFS! at all when last season ended. I mean, McCourt's gone, we have an owner with fuck you money, an all-star line-up that didn't cost us our top prospect, and reason for hope. Not getting into the playoffs sucks right now, especially considering the hot start, but all in all, I'm OK with this season. Especially if neither the Skankees or Gnats win the WS.
huh? Why would Donnie take out Wright right now?
good job, Randy
Jamey could have done that too, but whatever
I don't care if Spanky beats me, geaux Saints!
So will Dusty Baker (the Reds manager, not the Son) be a former Dodger and manage the Reds to go all-out against the Cards or will he act like the former Gnat manager and have them lay down?
I think there's enough bad blood between the Cards and Reds that they'll give 'em a fight.
Great win, fellas
1 run given up all series
PGTUP!
