2013 Dodgers Schedule: Hope You Like Interleague!

Get ready for more of this.

The 2013 Major League Baseball schedule was released at 10am today. With the Astros moving to the AL next year, that means 15 teams in each league and interleague series all year long. How does that affect the Dodgers, who notoriously struggle against AL opponents? Let's see:
  • April 19-21: @ Orioles
  • May 27-28: vs. Angels
  • May 29-30: @ Angels
  • June 18-19: @ Yankees
  • July 22-24: @ Blue Jays
  • July 30-31: vs. Yankees
  • August 9-11: vs. Rays
  • August 23-25: vs. Red Sox
Well, hello there, AL East! 20 interleague games, which I think is only a couple more than normal. No interleague in September, which is good. (Giants face the Yankees in NY for three in September.) The scheduling of the Angels and Yankees series is odd, to say the least.

We finally get the Orioles, and it's the year after they become good.
