It doesn't exist, but it should. From @PA_Dodger:
John Ely (3-2, 3.00) vs. Dan Haren (5-4, 5.35).
COMMENTS: Can the Dodgers top last night's balky walk-off weirdness? If they're still in the mood for more late-inning theatrics, they need only remember the last Ely-Haren matchup, in which the Dodgers scored nine runs in the last two innings to turn a one-run squeaker into a ten-run laugher.
Andre Ethier's back, although he went 0-for-4 in last night's game, leaving three men on base. Still, we've finally got our Opening Day lineup back, and two more opportunities to beat up on the D'backs before Jason Heyward and the Braves come to town. Let's see action!

Sorry to negate your "We've got our Opening Day lineup back" comment.
Free Jamie Carroll
Free at last, free at last.
Something is making the main page jump all the way to the bottom.
Sorry about that, it's the new SportsFanLive ads. I'm working on it.
Dodger Photoshoppers in PA (The LFP)
Oops. My bad.
I'll take a seat next to DeWitt for this game.
More chance for Vin to gush about Carroll, I guess.
No biggie, Josh. But excellent work like that certainly deserves its due. SI should hire that guy.
Let it be known that Team Customer will be leaving work on time, for once.
It saddens me that the three guys who are considered 2nd basemen on the Dodgers have one measly home run between them. (I actually thought it was zero before I bothered to look it up.) And Belliard's was waaaayy back on April 8th.
Admiral Ackbar with another start. Joyce better start hitting or he's going to earn those frequent flyer miles to Albekracky.
Am i the only one who doesnt mind Dewitt? I like maybe 3-4 HR's out of him but its not like there is a better option out there.
Wish those rumors about a trade for Callaspo in the offseason were true though.
dewitt is tied for the lead in triples among second basemen. thats something, haha.
He is being outslugged by Eck though, yeesh.
Nic, I think you've almost talked yourself out of liking DeWitt.
Actually, I'd like to see him stay, but I am also baffled at the Dodgers' impatience with him.
I'm not that down on DeWitt just yet. As long as his OBP is high, he's not costing us an out in the lineup. That should buy him some time to figure it out.
Yeah, as long as DeWitt's OBP is high, he'll develop more power. Does his defense seem better lately?
he defense does seem better. i dont cringe when the ball is hit to him anymore.
I usually refer to him as a "good little second basemen"
what happened to his power though? didnt he hit like nine in his first year and even in his up and down year last year he hit a few.
i cant believe federer lost BTW.
I dunno. Maybe he's just concentrating on working on his defense more than his power.
DeWitt's not a power guy, never will be. It'd just be nice to throw in a long-ball every now and then. No point in turning into Juan Pierre, where a homer is as rare as an ESPN Game of the Week featuring the Royals.
yeah thats what i was getting at, league average in the power dept is ok with me.
I'm on the fence about DeWitt but I'm hoping that's not just the Jamey Carroll Propaganda Campaign (TM) talking. I want to give both guys a chance.
And so, we've come full circle. The consensus is DeWitt can stay as long as he's an average fielder, has a good OBP, couple of dingers here and there, and the Lakers in 6.
Especially if it's the Lakers in six.
Well, I suddenly find myself at the Ravine for a second night in a row. I lucked into Field 26.
x3 for lakers in six
great now vin is trying to guilt us for the balkoff.
Ely...walks Upton? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
weren't we supposed to give up two runs in the first?
Dumb luck, that, Josh.
Nice!
@Mr LASF he didn't allow a walk, he's just using reverse psychology
seriously, what the hell?
One pitch?
Epale everyone!
have a great time Josh!
I closed my ears expecting lots of shouting, then I realized that this was a Vin game.
Have I mentioned that I dislike Eric Collins?
8 Pitches by Haren.
Estimated amount of Dback bullpen we will see, 0 IP.
The Dodgers are playing the Yankees? No way! I should get single-game tickets to one of those...
On the way home I was listening to the pre-game. Steiner was talking about the balkoff last night and about how rare they were. He said that some crazy person actually kept stats on that type of thing and that it was just beyond him how anyone was able to know this sort of stat.
*sigh*
When the hell did someone unfreeze this caveman? You know, Charley, they have these thingymaboppers called computers, and on these devices one can compile and analyze data that can then be disseminated to others for their information and discussion. What a fucking concept! Who knew?!?
RMonday then chimed in that the person compiling these stats probably was in a rubber room and onyl got visitors once a week (e.g., institutionalized).
Talk about a disconnect...
@MLASF
Does Derek Jeter play for these "Yankees" you speak of?
dont they broadcast from a rubber room?
@DB, no the Yankees play for Derek Jeter.
According to Yahoo Gametracker, Ely has no photo.
Jedi mind trick, that.
Jeter lets other Yankees play with him. Remember Carl Pavano? Well, once C-Pav accidentally took Jeter's bag of Skittles, and...well, you know the rest.
No first inning runs feels a little bit like a lead
Vin, I love you, but WE KNOW C JACKSON HAD VALLEY FEVER. Let that talking point go, I say respectfully.
at least we dont get to hear about felipe lopez and his abusive father anymore.
@mlasf
What, did Jeter send the tubesock after him?
Jeter never sends a sock to do a Jeter's job.
What happened to the D-Backs who tripped over themselves while trying to tie their shoes?
Er, Power of the Beard
Saw Newcombe on my way to my seat.
They're tagging Ely's pitches, but since it's not 6pm, they're staying in the park.
How many balls have been hit to the warning track only to be caught tonight? By both teams, even. There'd be 6 HRs already in Great American Ballpark.
Haren at 23 pitches through 2IP. Estimated AZ bullpen we will see, 0.2IP
To be fair, I thought it was three outs too.
The inning ends when Ely says it does.
#elymania.
@Nic J what did Ely do?
he started to walk off the mound after two outs.
MSB!!
@Nic J hahahahahaha
He also doesn't walk hitters, he allows them to reach first base as his good action of the day
#elymania
Our little MSB
Old Snake-Eyes pulls through yet again.
Ely always looks like he is bunting for a hit, not a sac.
either way it looked terrible.
Ely still needs to go over bunting a little more.
Furcal is going to teach Ely never to miss a sac bunt opportunity.
furcal showed me, no GIDP.
I'm going to just come out and say this: What the hell happened to Kemp's power?
these short at bats aint helping.
Haren at 38 pitches.
Estimated bullpen usage, -1.0 IP
eh, he has just slowed down a little. Albert Pujols would say that he was just spoiling us that first month.
manny brought his gold glove today.
Manny Gold Glove!
Two web gems from Manny.
Well, the Gold Glove showed up, how about the Silver Sluggers?
I love you, too, Josh!
Oh, wait, never mind.
I hate it when Upton and Cargo are stealing hits from us. Just think of how irritating it has to be when manny is doing it to your team.
see just like that, annoying.
finally upton misses one.
loney now is tied with matt kemp for bases stolen.
#thingsineverthoughtiwouldbesayinginjune
Doesn't Kemp have more CS than SB? Embarrassing.
Hi all.
Stuck watching the D backs channel. Their losing streak has tamed them down a bit.
yup, 7 SB in 15 attempts.
@paul, just wait till they score a run. theyll go back to screaming.
there goes the NO NO.
Shit sorry guys I feel like I jinxed it.
wow, the wind is on Ely's side tonight.
no worries paul.
Damn. I was hoping Frank could sell unused tickets from this game.
matt kemp late on the throw to second again.
You can't stop Ely with throwing errors.
I'm sick of this Bad News Bears shit. Maybe because we were so solid defensively last season. But good lord, these are rookie/little league mistakes that have to go if we're going to win the west. Too bad we don't have a lot of coaches who are experts in these baseball basics who can relay tips on their craft to our players.
Story on ESPNLA says that the Lakers are seriously looking into who to draft with their 42nd overall pick. Surprising considering they sold two picks last year for salary relief.
Jmart, 3 pitch AB, 4 pitch AB.
thanks for nothing.
The lakers treat the draft like the clippers treat the playoffs.
They are both unaware that they exist.
So Snake-Eyes is the only one who can hurt Haren, both figuratively and literally.
MSB tried his best to get haren out of the game.
Is it obvious that Ely was drafted by an AL team?
finally got that one down.
I've got both Haren and Ely on my fantasy team, so I'm loving this deadlock so far.
Nice bunt Ely.
Sorry, i got distracted!
small sample size alert, Carroll batting 1.000 in june.
I have seen this game already. I swear at least 3 times. I like the way it ends. Kuroda looks different though.
News on Lima tribute at DS this Sunday:
"LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers will celebrate the life of the late Jose Lima at Dodger Stadium on Sunday during one of the team's Viva Los Dodgers days, prior to a 1:10 p.m. PT game with the Braves.
Lima, a 13-year pitcher in the big leagues who led the Dodgers to the playoffs in 2004, passed away at 37 on May 23 and was honored this past weekend in his hometown of Santiago in the Dominican Republic.
Lima, a musician as well as a ballplayer, had performed on a Viva Los Dodgers day in 2004 and was planning to again this season. Lima's longtime friend and the bandleader of L.A.'s Conjunto Amistad, Johnny Polanco will perform a set on Sunday, followed by Estrellas de Tuzantla. Polanco has performed with notable musicians, ranging from Prince to Tito Puente Jr.
Several of Lima's friends and family members will recount stories of his life while fans will be encouraged to sign a book of memories for his family.
Before the game, a rendition of the national anthem and "God Bless America" that Lima performed in 2004 will be shown on DodgerVision. There will be an in-game video tribute to the animated right-hander, and Lima's son, Jose Jr., is expected to throw out the first pitch.
Viva Los Dodgers days, presented by State Farm, take place every Sunday of a Dodgers homestand in Lot 6. Auto gates open at 11 a.m., Estrellas de Tuzantla will perform at 11:15 a.m., and Johnny Polanco and Conjunto Amistad will take the stage at 12:15 p.m."
im getting a little uneasy of so many "analysts" picking the lakers to win.
Mainly lakers in 7 so that pretty much saying its a toss up.
I hate Haren's bat. And his arm. And his face.
Lead off hit. Haren hitting over .400.
Gidp! Runs please!
Ely with the 4 pitch inning.
Furcal didn't trust Carroll with that throw.
I'm a little perplexed at how J.A. Adande picked Boston in six.
D backs have to play Red Sox. Yankees and Devil Rays this month. Wow.
Haren probably has more hits than our whole pitching staff.
Pitch count at 79. Kemp on!
The Braves have a winning streak of 7 games, that's bad.
They defeated the Phillies 6-2 tonight, that's good
They play against the Dodgers this weekend...
Andre needs to rub the beard for good luck.
im not really scared of the braves, im not quite sure why.
@Paul I'd say he has to rub gnome's beard and Mighty Beard's beard.
Karina
Bad news for the Braves and their winning ways this weekend. Dodgers best home record since 06 or something like that. Per Vinny.
That ball Manny hit looked like it deflated in mid air.
Speaking of the beard.....
Manny's hit looked like the ball hit a bird in mid-flight and then just dropped.
@Paul did Vinny say that? i've got to remember my older brother that fact. He's a hardcore Braves fan!
Braves-Dodgers games brought lots of bonding time!
RISP! score some runs!
Shit. Casey looked liked a pro westler who is about to throw a chair in the stands.
Good news. 93 pitches now.
Can't believe the Beard struck out, if he had hit a weak grounder, i could have been able to take it.
It's my fault the Beard struck out. I jinxed him.
Way to hussle and shut me up.
So, my son basically caught stealing the runner at 3rd!
Quick episode of Real Conversation in Baker Household:
MDIL after Martin throws runner out at third: They [Diamondbacks] hate the Dodgers, don't they?
Dusty: I think they hate themselves.
This is an appropriate way to start the lucky seven for the Dodgers.
Atta boy, Russ.
i will save my complaints about jmarts 1 pitch AB to see if he scores or not.
alright calmado.
nothings gonna happen.
I hate Stephen Drew
Vin says fight or sit down, pansies.
"Gave both benches a chance to stretch their legs" -Vinny re the bench-clear.
I don't see why the bullpen had to go out onto the field.
at least ely cant lose this great outing.
No DP please
The Dbacks bullpen actually gave up three runs just running out to the field.
WHAT DID I JUST SAY?
Garrett Anderson: when making one out isn't bad enough.
worthless. and that DP keeps haren in the game for one more inning.
Great, now Ely doesn't get a win either. Darned Anderson
Nevermind the D bag announcers are still idiots.
Ely should have batted in that situation. At the very least, don't waste the batting spot on fricking Anderson.
I thought Haren was supposed to give up a lot of HR's
Rein it in, Belly.
Fight?
man he had him at second.
probably would of thrown it into center though.
Harens in to win the game for himself.
I'd rather have Haren hitting than GA.
@karina
Like a junior high fight. Lots of close talking, little action.
That was a little scary Kemp.
Kuo coming in.
Pod rays losing.
@Mr. C - sounds like one of my dates in Jr. high.
Ely gets screwed again.
Rox and Gnats tied at 1.
Yeah, enough about Nic's prom night.
Hayoooooo.
@Nic
Ha! That's true, too. In both cases everyone involved wants to hit something, but lack the nerve to do so.
padres losing, that means we are likely to lose.
Josh, how are you living with the guilt of hitting a beach ball yesterday? #Shame
Ha, very good, MR C
@Mr C i thought a fight could stir things a little.*Sighs*
@Dusty Baker at least Nic J had dates at Junior High :)
Status: Kuo
Status Kuo.
bright side of the GAARPDP, top O' the lineup this inning.
I got dibs!
Weird Mr. C.
haha, thanks karina.
Haren has to be tired.
I like your ": " better.
Paul's talking about Mr. C's colon, hehe.
I predict this game will not toto extra innings.
@Karina
HAH! True, true.
I was too busy developing fantasy baseball stats (pre-computing age) and playing Dungeons and Dragons.
Shit Fookie.
what a BS call
I thought he was talking about Bartolo Colon.
Toto? I got nothin'.
maybe he isnt tired.
Ferchrissake, can we have bullpen time yet?
Kemp was dominated.
This has all been one big setup for Ethier to hit a HR and reclaim his throne after coming off the DL.
Not swinging like that, though.
Now would be a good time for Andre's first hit.
"hold the line" Mr. C
end this, manny.
They must be playin with mush balls tonight. Manny!!!
Manny kills Haren too.
@nicj
Perhaps this AB will be The Turning Point.
blogger broken?
123. Most pitches by Haren ever.
124
Blogger seems ok. My nerves are up a bit.
That was outside. No heart attacks needed. 125
Shite.
well, at least haren is out of the game.
maybe...
