Brad Penny Being a Good Boy...For Now

From "Penny accepts role as No. 4 starter" by Steve Henson at the L.A. Times:

After walking three and hitting a batter in two scoreless innings of a 5-2 victory over the New York Mets, [Brad] Penny said he has no problem with being the No. 4 starter and missing out on pitching both the season opener and home opener.

Manager Grady Little "is great about asking, and I told him that as far as I'm concerned, it doesn't matter if I'm number two, three, four or five," Penny said. "Derek Lowe deserves to start opening day and the home opener isn't that important to me."

Henson also says Penny has "dropped about five pounds." About five pounds? More like five stones.

Also, DT reader "natepurcell" notes that Penny is reportedly dating Eliza Dushku after being connected with Alyssa Milano. What is it about Brad Penny that chicks dig? I mean, besides the over $20 million in career earnings.
