Why The Hell Not: Dodgers Sign 4.95 ERA Guy Kevin Gregg To Bullpen

As per Yahoo News):

The Los Angeles Dodgers signed right-handed reliever Kevin Gregg to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training, the team announced Sunday.

Gregg, 34, was 3-2 with a 4.95 ERA last year with the Baltimore Orioles. He was a closer for five seasons between 2006-10 with 144 saves. His best year was in 2010 when he saved 37 games with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Echoes Dodgers.com:

Gregg's signing comes two days after the club signed Mark Lowe, also to a Minor League contract with a Spring invite. But unless there is a new injury, the Dodgers already have a loaded bullpen with closer Brandon League, setup men Kenley Jansen and Ronald Belisario, situational lefty J.P. Howell, Matt Guerrier, Javy Guerra, Shawn Tolleson, Paco Rodriguez, Stephen Fife and Josh Wall.

I'm not tagging this one until Gregg makes the team...

Paco Rodriguez?? Didn't he tour with Vicente Fernandez and the Flaming Menudos back in the day?

Tolleson still hasn't thrown a strike or gotten anyone out.

He looks like a stereotypical bully in a crappy teen angst movie.
