that was a pretty enjoyable game last night. First Joba gagging against Pedro Effing Feliz, then the overdue Lidge meltdown accompanied by the requisite sad philly fan shots. They both couldn't lose. At least it happened that way
Brim - couldn't agree more. Just wish it was anyone else besides A-Rod who came through in the clutch for them.
That Damon steal of third was legit. He might not be able to throw from the outfield for poop, but that was some heads up ball playing.
The Damon AB itself was epic.
There's a guy who played for the Dodgers last year who did things like Damon did last night.
What was that guy's name again?
Damon's AB was great. I think the thing with him is that he's so dopey he doesn't really feel the pressure. He seems to play in the moment more than most
Agreed with all youse guys on the Damon AB and subsequent steal. My brother and I couldn't figure out why Pedro Feliz took two pathetic steps toward Damon and then just watched him run to third. At least make an effort out of it, Happy Pete. As a result, your game-tying HR will be forgotten...
Hey, that's my nephew!
