Wow, the IRS is so hard up for money they can't afford to hire a proofreader. And why do they need my credit card number? And ATM PIN? And my mother's maiden name? Well, better give those to them just to be safe.
C'mon, cyberthieves! It's like you're not even trying anymore!

I remember the good old days of Nigerian princes when identity thieves cared about things like narrative and persuasion tactics.
@Mr. C - I got an e-mail from a Nigerian prince not too long ago. Nice guy, needed a few bucks to get a fortune out of the bank, so I helped him out.
Y'know, now that I think about it, he never did send me that money he promised.
You mean the IRS doesn't correspond by e-mail? Whaaa?
If the crafty Russians behind these scams learned a little more English, they might actually pull this crap off.
I cant believe you guys didn't have a "Happy Birthday Vin Scully" Thread.

Orel, I've already spent the $648.50, so I hope this is legitimate.
@JL: It's the way Vin would want it!
@Sax: Don't worry, that's only like a day of SoSG ad revenue.
Since when has the IRS ever responded to anything within 3-6 days?
