That sounds dirty.
If I had posted this earlier today, would it have been a premature conjetulation?
Congrats to the World Series on winning another Derek Jeter.
Jerry Hairston on MLBN: "I like kissing my sister and all...."
WHAT?
I hate how Michael Kay always makes it sound like he's blowing a kiss whenever he says "Jeter". For a long time, I've said that the White Sox' Hawk Harrelson is the worst major-market announcer, but I may have to recalibrate my suckometer.
So do we stop using Jeter now, or is Jeter even in use during the off-Jeter?
To be honest, I'm getting a little tired of hearing how the Yankees bought the series. I understand they spent a fortune on FA's, but when you get down to it, they just played much better than the Phillies. It was a team effort for the Yanks, as much as I hate to admit it, and for the Phils, only four guys showed up.
it's finally over!
cant wait to see who we dont sign in FA and dont trade for
If I could describe the World Series in one win, I'd say it was "Jeter-rific."
The World Series Ring now has 5 Jeter fingers!
now George Steinbrenner can die a happy man. Jeter is already committed to be all of his pallbearers
I'm ready for this phony Jetermania to have bitten the dust.

*claps*
Its a good thing the Yankees won last night. It probably took away some of the sting the New York fans were feeling after the New York Sentinels of the United Football League lost their 4th straight game. If only they got Derek Jeter to play quarterback......
