Jamie plans to hire attorney Harvey Dent to attempt to overturn Commissioner Gordon's ruling.

For those who want a day by day analysis of the McCourt drama (and who doesn't, right?) check out Dodgerdivorce.com

Only question is why isn't SOSG linked on the left under "Respected Perspectives"? Maybe the blogger doesn't get the whole SOSG shtick.

I'm waiting for the judge's ruling that says neither one of these goldbrickers has any business owning this proud franchise. I've tried to keep the brave face regarding McCourt ownership, but in light of the recent court filings and the allegations brought forth, I find my distaste for both of these contemptable bloodsuckers to be growing each day.

In other words; SELL! SELL! SELL!

I've long been an apologist for the McCourts. For all their faults and the rising ticket prices, we've been successful under them and until all this crap happend, there was hope for some great renovations to Chavez Ravine. Plus, its been kinda nice to actually have a face for the franchise. However, at this point, even I would be fine if they just sold the team.

Having said that, if they don't sell, I'll be content with Frank as the owner IF he can just get Jamie out of the picture as quickly as possible, and then he, himself, can just step out of the spotlight. Frank, you keep appointing a new "Special Advisor" every damn year, its time to use them. Maybe you should appoint one to make all your public appearances for you. Become the new, likable face of the franchise. A real "man of te people", a Dodger legend who looks good on camera. A man with a good......"reputation". Someone who will treat every single Dodger fan like their his own children.

If only there was a former Dodger who met all these qualities......

Milton Bradley?

I hate to say it, but Frankie is going to have to steal a page from the Artie Moreno book of "How to Win the Hearts of Your Fanbase." He has to lower beer prices. . .STAT.

That and change the name of the team to The Anaheim Dodgers of Los Angeles.

OK, maybe just lower beer prices. . .and parking. Shit, I still can't believe I pay $15 to park a 1/2 mile from my seat. But I do like Lot 1.

well doesnt he have to play more money to her per-month if she isnt the exec?

I'm thinking frank will take this thing in six.

Now I know why they call him "The Freak"

The Freak is a pothead? What next, Broxton enjoys Big Macs?

Now I'm even more perplexed at how he can keep that slim, girlish figure.

ESPNEWS Reports: "Taking a break from our Danica Patrick-Yankee-Favre-a-thon, a pint-size pitcher from an non-Red Sox, Met, or Yankee farm team was charged with possession of maurijuana today........one moment I'm getting word from our producer.......a Cy Young winner?????..........The Giants? That's a football team, dumbass!!"

Quick question: Does anyone know who Pedro's daddy is?

ach! I work three blocks from the end of the Yank-me victory parade route and the yankee scumbag fans have been swarming the area since 7am!

rbnlaw said...

I can't believe I have to wait until January for Monster Jam.

What to do in the meantime?

Fred's Brim said...

i walked up towards the Yankee parade at lunchtime and only made it one block before my deep hatred of the Yankees and their fans was reaffirmed. My Philly hate had overwhelmed my Yankee hate for about a week, but in the end, it stood no chance. man oh man are they awful

It's official: Manny will return to Dodgers next season.

Pulling for you to have a bounceback year, ManRam!

Crazy assed trade idea #3246:

Pierre to the Yankees for Chien-Ming Wang, straight up.

Yanks are going to non-tender him anyway, and you know they could take all of Juan's contract. They have an opening in LF. Free's up Gives us a pitcher and frees up some money (word is now we can't even afford Wolf because of this divorce BS)

Mr. LA Sports Czar said...

@PB - I like Chien-Ming, but I'd rather not trade him. I'd rather sign him to a low-base, high-incentive one-year deal.

Mr. LA Sports Czar said...

*trade for him

rbnlaw said...

If Chien-Ming's shoulder problems are solved, he's lights out. If not, he's balls-out. . .of the park.

I'd sign him.

Anonymous said...

well, even if we cant trade for him, theres a good chance he'll be non-tendered.

BTW- for those of you who are already starrved for baseball, the Arizona Fall League "Rising Stars Game" is about to start, live, on MLB Network. haven't checked what Dodger prospects are on the team.

Bull crap. We only got one player on the team. Catcher Lucas May has been lighting up the league. Where the Hell is he?
