Shouldn't the Red Sox get the red bar and the Pirates a yellow bar? Where's their sense of color coordination?
ESPN was referencing the Pirates "McDonald's Drive-Thru" alternate uniforms, which have a bright red vest top.
And the green refers to the $7M that the Red Sox are paying to allow Manny to play in LA.
I'm very happy with the trade. I commend the Dodgers for jumping through the window of opportunity, and hopefully they will choose wisely if/when they dump an outfielder.
My only regret is that losing LaRoche f's up a puzzle I had planned.
