Semanitc - Semantic... it's all semantics, right?
I will say this: I bet his girlfriend's heart skipped a beat when she read that. But then, DUH, of course he was late to the Friday workout, if in fact he was "the late" Duaner Sanchez.
Better to have re-worded that sentence... like say, "tardy" instead of "late".
