Can't recall a classier day in baseball. I still have no faith in humanity, but I do have faith in the game of baseball.

I have faith that we will get at least one game in Boston now that Eric Collins won't be doing the games. I have confidence that Vin on Friday can counter anything the clowns from Fox and ESPN may spew on Saturday and Sunday

Anybody else going to the games in the Hub?

Anyone else going to tonight's game?

I'm in 15 Reserve Row P Seat 17

Seriously. Good job of handling the situation by everybody. Joyce for admitting he was wrong. Galaragga for not feeling entitled or bitter as well as being willing to walk the line-up to Joyce before the game. And to the fans for showing some of the good of humanity.

It's just a good example of good sportsmanship and the good that sports can bring to people (at first I thought of coming up with some synonyms but I thought it'd be better to just shoot the moon). Stay classy.

Tonight:

Kenshin Kawakami vs. Clayton Kershaw

How many hard "K" sounds can be fit into one pitching matchup??

@DB awesome stuff

i've got a good feeling about Beckenbauer and the German Philosophers at this year's world cup

also, the Gallaghers were the ugliest beings in the cantina

HONK HONK!

@FB

GER - really? Maybe. They have some key injuries that set them back (incl captain M Ballack).

In other WC news - ENG's captain Rio Ferdinand ruled out and Ivory Coast's star Didier Drogba ruled out w broken arm. Moral of story: don't play "friendlies" right before the competition.

@DB that was actually a reference to the Monty Python sketch, not a real world cup prediction.

I am having a hard time making a prediction actually. Everybody seems very beatable

Kyle Baker said...

Ah. Not familiar with that sketch. Thot you just had a quaint name for the squad.

I have a name for that squad but probably shouldn't type it here given Sax's delicate ears.

Blogger - shockingly! - broken again. New comments haven't been showing up on the recent comment right-side sidebar thingy.

The world ends in 3.2.1...

I would think this would be right up your alley

Excellent, FB!

I now have a vague recollection of this from many years ago. Thanks for the refresher.

Just browsing what I missed during the workday. Nice find, DB. I'm making a mental note " don't eff with Snoop"
