Rookie Hazing Fans, Fire Up Your Cameras!

Last year's rookie hazing inductees.

From Tony Jackson:

What I DID learn after the game is that division title or no, the annual rookie hazing will go on as scheduled for tomorrow night's flight to San Francisco. I'm sworn to secrecy on what the costumes are going to be, but let's just say it's an eclectic mix. The veterans found a costume rental place in South Pas that was going out of business, so they loaded up."

The Dodgers' magic number is one and the players are ready to let off some steam...by humiliating the team's rookies. If you're unfamiliar with the glory of professional athletes in grossly inappropriate attire being paraded in public, check out last year's hijinks.

Sons of Steve Garvey is once again putting out the call to anyone with a camera on either the Los Angeles or San Francisco end of tomorrow's team flight. If you snap any pictures of this year's rookie hazing, send 'em in to the address on the sidebar. You'll be credited for your contributions and receive the eternal thanks of Dodger fans everywhere!

The hazing has already begun. This past sunday I was having my Dodger dog and Commacho's nachos in the Reserve level seats when all the pitchers walked from the dugout to the bullpen. Some of the pitchers (most likely the rookies) were wearing bright pink or teal kidsized backpacks! Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me but anyone who gets to tonight's game early may be able to snap some hazing pics for us to see.
