On the day the Dodgers lost yet another starter to the DL — this time it's Dee Gordon for six weeks — the Dodgers cobbled together another signature victory, chipping away at Diamondbacks starter Wade Miley and giving Nathan Eovaldi his first win in almost a year.
Giants cooperated by losing in walk-off fashion to the Nats, so the Dodgers are 1.5 games up. Kershaw up next!

LA Times headline today:
Dodgers sneer at logic with 4-1 victory over Diamondbacks
What a strange way to note the victory. What are they teaching these kidsin journalism school now?
Dylan, right? I'm getting fed up with his "This team is supposed to suck! Why aren't they sucking?" routine.
Everyone has to have an editorial opinion now, I guess.
I miss Malamud
To be fair, I don't think writers come up with the headlines.
What fun is that?
@Orel
I was attacking the headline, not the writer.
Or, more specifically, the headline writer.
