See You Tomorrow!

SoSG players: look for anybody wearing one of these and come get your own! Thanks again to John G and German Rivera (verdilak.com) for making our T-shirts possible.

Cheerleaders welcome!

Seriously, how can I get one?
I will buy a round of "soda" for one

Is there anything in the rules about who's bringing softballs? Does each team have to supply one game ball?

Dusty Baker said...

What is this strange "soda" you speak of, FB?

Johnny Blanchard said...

Can somebody please get the boy a shirt?

Believe me, I want the shirt, but I am willing to sacrifice mine in the *offchance* there are not enough made.

(As long as I get a pic of Weisman and Baly hugging. Make it happen. Ok, even if it doesn't happen,)

I want a picture of Eric Stephen and someone from MSTI dry humping, like Kemp on a walk off hero.

@Johnny, thank you, but I would never ask for one from somebody who participated. They've earned it. But if Saxy blows out his hammy legging out a ground ball in the first game, that shirt is mine!

I hear you, FB, but I figure to be a few sheets to the wind after the game and will probably be shirtless, so get while the gettins good!

Dusty Baker said...

Oh wow, we now have pre-planned streaking!

FB: I'll give you mine, albeit slightly used, but laundered thereafter.

DB: I'm going to bring a brand new softball and a sharpie for everyone to sign.

Contemplating either keeping it for myself, or donating it to the blog as a winning gift to some type of shenanigan.

All 15 registered players get a T-shirt.

There are some extra shirts, but not a lot. What would you guys think if we made a few available for those who donate to the foodbank?

If there's demand beyond that, we would need to lobby John G to print another batch -- and make it profitable for him.

Johnny Blanchard said...

Gosh, the shirt has the damned Dodger linked 'O' or whatever it's called on UniWatch. Pretty sure it would move like hot buttered biscuits.

PLAYERS: DON'T FORGET TO BRING A BAG OF FOOD FOR THE FOOD BANK.

Dusty Baker said...

That's a right fine idea there, Neeebs.

And if you're a lazyass like ol' Nomo, they also are accepting grocery store gift cards.

Just so we're clear. I'm there at 1 for the MSTI throwdown. I've got all my best SABRmetric taunts ready.

Example:

Yeah, your pitcher's xFIP sucks.
Hey, at least my WAR is in the positive.
I got your OBPS hangin, pal!

DBTP, I like the WHIP taunt.

Also: Hey, show me the Moneyball!

Lazyass update: I actually rustled up a bag of food.

Late scratch: Dusty hacked up a lung and can't seem to find it. He will miss the first game.

Also, Stubbs may have vanished off the face of the Earth.

I''ve been in seclusion in the east wing. I'll be there, bring and... early?

Franklin Stubbs said...

^bright, that is.

Hideo Nomo said...

Wow! Type his name and he appears! Just like Booger.

Right, Booger?

Franklin Stubbs said...

I have indeed been out of commission, though hopefully the immediate work crunch will let up after next week.
