The Dodgers finally announced their deal to move games to Fox Sports station AM 570 next season and to enter into an "integrated marketing and broadcasting agreement" with Clear Channel Communications. Games will be on AM 570 at least through the 2014 season, the release says. There will be a Dodger Talk show after each game for at least an hour.
Nice knowing you, 790! (Like AM 980, after the Dodgers left I never listened to it again.)

980 is still valuable for the occasional traffic update, but yes, 790 is now completely useless.
Petros and Money's interview with Vin promoting the move.
Hey, does this mean the end of annoying "recycle in your blue bins while taking a day off from a union job and praising a sheriff's deputy" voiceover guy?
The downside is that Vic the Brick and Steve Hartman will be shoved down our throats as part of all Dodger coverage.
As long as they won't be calling the games, I'm confident I can avoid them.
I figured this might happen. Now the little helmet radio giveaway I got a couple years ago is of no use to me at all.
@Calder: TOTALLY good call. My helmet radio fell this season and stopped working. Now, I don't feel so bad!
@Josh S 8:49a: I sure as hell hope so. Man, that nasally-voiced guy was annoying.
Aside from my distaste for most of the personalities on 570, I'm glad the Dodgers can get some coverage on an all-sports station. I'm tired of spending two hours hearing about which middling veteran the Lakers will pursue in July.
The nasally-voiced union shill I can tolerate, but we can we please get rid of the ALADS sponsorship? Man, those ads are depressing.
I don't give a rats ass what station you are on! 3 Innings of Vin Scully is absolute BullShiiittteee!!!
