NLDS Game 3: PHI Cole Hamels (14-9, 2.79 regular season) @ STL Jaime Garcia (13-7, 3.56 regular season)
If you look closely at the image, you can see one of the Phillies' ballyhooed four aces at the foundation of the house of cards. We'll see if Busch Stadium crumbles if that ace gets removed early. Other than my cheesy GT metaphor, you know the rest of the cliches about the Cardinals' home crowd.
This is the only one of today's four playoff games that doesn't have an elimination outcome. So just go out there and have fun, you guys!

Random, meaningless, nonsensical post!
NEXT!
If the Phils and Yanks make an early exit, I will be A-OK with any of the rest of the field winning it all. (The Cards probably least of all, but I wouldn't lose sleep if they did.)
Hoping for some serious scooby dooing today; four separate GT posts going on. Let's have fun with this.
@PPR: non-sensical? What?
I can't tolerate either the Phils or the Cards. While it's true that Philly has been our more recent nemesis, Tony LaRussa is a monumental anus (and not in a good way).
There's a good monumental anus?
Whoops. I neglected to mention that should it be Cards/Brewers in the NLCS, the Cards can go fuck themselves.
Fuck both of these teams!
If I had to pick, I'd say St. Louis, only as I think they would have less of a chance to advance further.
Well, at the very least, I did not expect this one to be scoreless through 5.
non-sensa-what?
I got a Cole Hamels badge.
Swell.
Hamels at 117 pitches through 6. Yet, still no score. Cray-zay.
Well, there ya go.
4-hit day for Theriot, nothing to show for it.
Cards are putting something together.
Raffy extends the inning!
I do not care for Brad Lidge.
Furcal?!?!?!?!
Who knew
Lidge has caused Phil fans such agita over the years. He's like Dr Heckyll and Mr. Jive!
Craig - I'd s on you, but I don't know who the f you are.
Stupid Phillies.
Stupid Cards.
Stupid playoffs.
Yeah, you'd think I'd like a guy that Philly loves to hate. Go figure.
Nice snag, Raffy.
Nice to see the umps get it right. I still want expanded instant replay though.
Well, nice to know that the GIDP really didn't matter after all.
One run in, one run to go.
Balls.
dammit. can both teams lose this series?
