From a Dodgers press release:

All fans purchasing at least one ticket at Dodger Stadium on March 6 will receive two free tickets to the Dodgers’ exhibition home opener against the Cleveland Indians on April 1. Dodger legends Ron Cey and “Sweet” Lou Johnson will be on hand from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. to take photographs and sign autographs for fans.

Farmer John Dodger Dogs will be available for just $2 and Dodger merchandise kiosks will be open. Individual tickets purchased at Dodger Stadium will not incur any service charges.

And for those purchasing online:

THE FIRST 14-HOUR SALE
On Saturday, March 6th only from 10:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. PT, SAVE UP TO 60% on select locations for Opening Night on Wednesday, April 14th and/or Jackie Robinson Night on Thursday, April 15th, both vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks. $50 Field Box seats for only $20, $30 Infield Reserve Seats for only $15, and $12 Top Deck seats for only $6!

No bonus for those purchasing over the phone, but at least you'll probably get to listen to Vin's voice while you're on hold.

I hear that Yankee series tickets are only available through season and mini packages, but no single game tickets. Can someone crunch the numbers on this?

Here's how my diseased mind restyled FB's comment on the sidebar, at first glance:

I need to be institutionalized.

A ticket rep told me about the Yankers situation when I bought my game package. Kind of a dick move on the organization's part, I'd say.

Despite my lacking match skills, I have crunched the numbers for you. The fnal result: 1. That's the amount of fingers I'm holding up to represent my feelings about the Yankees tickets situation.

I agree. We'll skewer the Yankees ticket hostage taking in a future post...

It sucks to be three hours away and a loyal fan who can't buy Yanks tickets because I won't buy other tickets because I don't have my work schedule determined 8 months in advance.
