Dakota Fanning's aunt has an extensive wardrobe!
Lincecum is getting shelled by the Mariners, three runs scored with only one out in the first. Tied at three, B1.
And the audio is working!!!
Lincecum is gone after one bad inning in which he struggled.
Also, although audio works, background audio does not...
Background works for me. Where are you getting stuck?
I don't know, Josh. I hit the quicktime buton in the upper right of the Audio screen, and then it launches the new window and tells me to hit "play" and then the square button at the bottom. But if I go back to safari, I can't get another safari window to open without hitting "done", which stops the sound.
Can we surf with the background audio still going?
Giants just went up 6-3 on the Mariners, thanks to a ball going over Milton Bradley's head.
It's never too early for a little MiltonFail.
Y'know, I haven't tried surfing. Hmmm...*tries it*
Yep. No surfing in Safari. I guess we could use the Google app to view pages until there's a fix.
Tried one of the alternate web browsers (Mercury) from the app store and it works while streaming background audio. It's not quite as smooth or fast as Safari, but it'll do in a pinch.
Mercury is not as fast. How ironic. Doesn't he have wings on his ankles?
Hey biotches! Greetings from Rome's failing capitol.
I tried the app while scarfing down a crappy piece of pizza in the Rayburn cafeteria today, and thought of you lot. Didnt' try it w audio in background though. Ever try a different brwoser for iFizzle called Vanilla? Recommend it, but don't yet know if it will work whil MLB app is going.
Josh S, DB: I didn't even know there were other browser options beyond safari on the iPhone. Please educate a neophyte!

Yeah there are a few apps one can download that function as a browser; some better than Safari. The aforementioned Vanilla is one I'm toying with lately, and it seems pretty solid so far. I also understand, but haven't tried, Opera has a browser for iPhone that is really fast.
Bottom line is yeah, they're out there and worth a shot. Some are faster, some have better functionality, but not sure there is necessarily one out there that is a jesus browser. So, like with PCs, one might end up with a couple different browsers and choose one over the other depending on the need at the time.
Just discovered that the stream does not automatically resume after hanging up a call. (I was streaming from the app, not in the background, at the time.)
