At Sons of Steve Garvey, we are particularly proud of our ability to beat a dead horse, humor-wise. Any of our visitors on the first day of recent Aprils can testify to that. But lately our readers have been upping the ante. Several Jimbos are still commenting — I'm looking at you, Jimbo! — but Erin just took the cake.
Erin and her partner Katie sent in some pictures of their adorable eighteen-month-old baby Merritt. Yes, that's an actual custom-made Hey Jimbo! T-shirt, courtesy of Katie. Yes, that's Merritt emulating our featureless Jimbo avatar by masking his own face with a Dodgers cap. I think. I mean, kids are pretty complicated nowadays.
Bravo, Erin & Katie! Merritt is in the vanguard of a new generation of Jimbos. As such, the IRS will grant him a 10% discount on all taxes owed, and he will eat free at any Sizzler location for his entire lifetime. Congrats!

Well, I have to say that's the cutest baby I've ever seen. And a fledgling Dodger fan to boot!
Nice photos, Erin! Thanks!
Now that's dedication!
(Motivate me to change my avatar. It's been a while since my little guy made an appearance on SoSG.)

Lucas! You've grown!

It's okay. Katie is allergic to shellfish. She may have passed it on to the little one. I got in this for the all-you-can-eat soft serve ice cream.
Truly beautiful. It's no coincidence that the letters in Erin, Katie, Merritt are collectively an anagram for "awesome T-shirt"
Hey Jimbo tattoo, anyone?
