BREAKING NEWS: Details of Two-Year Deal Emerge

By opting to stay with a team that revitalized his image late in his career, he has chosen to stay with the city that gave him such a memorable postseason run, bringing to a close to an offseason of tension which kept fans and reporters hanging on every word.

That's right, Kurt Warner has re-upped with the Arizona Cardinals for two years, $23M:

The Arizona Cardinals and Kurt Warner agreed Wednesday to a two-year, $23 million deal, with $19 million of the contract guaranteed.

"I love what we've been doing," Warner said. "I love what we've been building here."

Under the terms of the deal, Warner will receive a $15 million signing bonus and $4 million base in each of the two seasons.

"We're ecstatic about the commitment the organization has made to us," Warner said. "Now it's my job for the next two years to go fulfill my part of the deal."

Congratulations to Warner and the Cardinals. Now if we could just find some compelling Dodgers news to mention...
