The Dodgers sent out a press release today indicating that Manny Ramirez will be one of three Dodger bobbleheads available in stadium giveaways this year. No shit, Sherlock. I bet they had this Ramirez bobblehead in production months ago.
What was surprising, however, was that Casey Blake got the other bobblehead slot:
Casey Blake Bobblehead Night, presented by Carl's Jr., takes place Wednesday, May 20 vs. the New York Mets. The Manny Ramirez Bobblehead Night, presented by Kaiser Permanente, is Wednesday, July 22 vs. Cincinnati. The third Bobblehead Night of the season is set for Wednesday, August 19 vs. St. Louis. Bobbleheads will be provided to the first 50,000 fans in attendance for each game. LOS ANGELES – Manny Ramirez and Casey Blake will be the first two Dodgers featured on bobbleheads this season. A third bobblehead will depict a player to be named later.
I am not sure what to read from a health care company underwriting Manny's bobblehead, but I'll bite my tongue. As for Casey, congratulations!
And now is our chance for us Dodger fans to band together for a JAMES LONEY BOBBLEHEAD. Let's bring new meaning to the historic SoSG catchphrase, "FREE JAMES LONEY."
(In fact, "FREE JAMES LONEY (TO THE FIRST 50,000 FANS)" has a pretty good ring to it....)

Loney is overrated.
Hershiser was a hack.
Woody Woodpecker was a poser.
Brett was a butler.
Her shoes were nicely shined but hirsute was wrinkled.
Live long and prosper?
BTW, I have a Loney Bobblehead, courtesy of the LA Dodger online shop.
We need an Andre Ethier Bobblehead. At least he somewhat produces, unlike Loney.
On the kabc post game show it said Matt Kemp was number 3
