I'm sorry, but when I read this headline "Red Sox want Matsuzaka aboard Henry's plane," I couldn't help but think of Theo Epstein and Larry Lucchino showing up in California dressed in camo garb and wielding tranquilizer guns, as they head over to the Boras ranch to try and bag themselves a Daisuke Matsuzaka.
Talks are breaking down (surprise). Boras claims Matsuzaka is worth $100M (surprise). The Red Sox have appealed to the press that they have tried everything, but Boras has remained quiet, so now the Boston brass have no chioce but to fly out west with a sweetened offer (surprise).
Methinks the Red Sox are, how do you say, "over a barrel"?
