Greinke may be down, but other starters are stepping it up: Kershaw allowed 3 ER (two walked in by his buddy Tolleson) over 7.1 IP in Game 1, Ryu allowed 3 ER (two on Beli hits) in 6 IP yesterday, and Josh Beckett pitched 8.1 innings of 1-run ball today.
Sadly, that was the winning run for the Snakes, as the Dodger bats left another five men on base today. Clearly Mark McGwire's mojo is not rubbing off on the Dodger offense, which continues to display levels of ineptitude not seen since 2003, or last year.
It doesn't get easier, as the Dodgers enter what is sure to be a tetchy three-game series with the Padres tomorrow. It's enough to make you want to slap something with a hockey stick.

I missed the game but it was for a good reason - I saw '42'...
Go see it.
Time for McGuire to break out the 'roids!
Wake up, Matty.
Matty had his shoulder cut open six months ago. It's gonna take some time. I'm more concerned about our third baseman.
Punto, Schumaker,Sellers, Uribe, Cruz, Harriston.
This is our bench.

@Paul
I'm mostly with you in general re Kemp, but I don't think this is physical. I think it's more about his approach at the plate, what he's swinging at/poor swing selection, etc.
@Neeebs 9:14p: (g) none of the above
He is pressing but I think that's cause he needs to regain confidence in that shoulder. I wish we could sit him a bit more to recover the first month but yeah we have nothing on the bench.
Dave Hansen?
Fuck, at this stage, all three Hanson brothers are laughing. Mmm bop, we don't got
