At-Game Recap: Opening Day 2013 (Part 4)

Continuing the much-overdue recap of Opening Day 2013 (see links below). Since I'd roamed the Field and Loge Levels, my next stop was up in the Reserve level. The Stadium was starting to crowd up as gametime approached, and the pre-game festivities began.

Andre Ethier was roaming the Reserve Level as well, along with his Spanish friend "Madrid".

New Reserve Level aisle signage. No player-photo column wraps. I think the bare concrete looks a bit stark.

New sinks in the Reserve level! With new floors so clean, you could pick stuff off the floor with your bare hands!

Lugo, Hinojos, and Ironside in the house.

Beautiful shot of the field from up here in Reserve.

A Son, and his mom, show off the new deluxe hot dog fare. Antacids not included.

Another couple of shots of the field.

Here comes the giant American flag! This part of Opening Day always moves me, emotionally, as they unfurl the stars and stripes.

This year, they also had a countdown clock on the fancy new right-field full-color scoreboard. Counting down to first pitch...

Ready to go!

I've got one more installation of pictures from Opening Day 2013. Hope to have these up before July!

I like how Hinojos' big ass is making things uncomfortable for his two friends.

Hinojos' seat is actually more narrow; it's an optical illusion
