James Loney was intentionally walked in this game. And that wasn't even the astounding part.
No, the surprising performance was from the rotund Juan Uribe, whose stick-bat-out-and-doink-ball, 4-for-4, 3 RBI, 2 R performance raised his batting average to .286. This eclipsed Loney's 2-for-3, 1 2B, 2 R evening (Loney is batting .245). Matt Kemp went 2-for-3 to raise his average to .460; Andre Ethier went 3-for-4 with an RBI to raise his average to .308.
All this feasting came at the expense of Jair Jurrjens (3.0 IP, 9 H, 5 ER, 0 Ks) and Livan Hernandez (4.1 IP, 6 H, 2 ER). Chris Capuano (7.0 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 4 BB, 5 Ks) gets the victory.
Dodgers are 7-0 at home and improve to 13-4 for the NL's best record.

Nice to get the win Snuggie Night Eve
.286???
Well, there's your next NL Player of the Week.
I cant believe I thought today was an off-day. Where's my brain?
We win the AFC West!
How is Tony Jackson going to belittle this win?
I wish they'd stop talking about the 13-0 home streak. Remember what happened at the end of that one?
Ah, we lost a game at home?
(i'm just kidding)
(I was there for the 13th game, but not the next one.
Ugh.)
Alternate PGT: Despite doubling his effort, Jerjerrod can't beat Dodgers.
Gnomes, that's f'ing awesome. Sorry I beat you to the PGT, as we should have gone with that.
The day after the 13th, they found manny with PED...
PS it's not lost on me that I write a GT based on marshmallows, and Urine goes off. Hmm.
Jurrjens was optioned to the minors immediately after the game.
"Look, son: James Loney and Juan Uribe just went 2-for-2 off you. You've clearly got a problem."
There is Tony Jackson's opening!
"The Dodgers were able to beat up on a minor league pitcher."
I'm surprised the guy has options left.
Me too, he has been in the majors for a while.
Jair is making $5.5 million this year, beating out John Lannan's $5 million salary to become the highest-paid minor leaguer.
@Mr LA SC 11:32p: totally. But there's always a home for a sarcastic Dodgers beat writer, right?
URINE!
Not one Urinetown reference?
I am disappoint.
