Game 17 Thread: April 23 vs. Braves, 7p

Chris Capuano (1-0, 4.50) vs. Jair Jurrjens (0-1, 8.10).

The Dodgers return home after being thoroughly spanked by Houston at Minute Maid Park Sunday (the 12-0 defeat was the worst shutout loss in eight years). The Braves, 8-2 over their last 10, may indeed be hot. But the Dodgers are the only team in the majors to be undefeated at home (6-0)! Surely that streak won't stop tonight.

Matt Kemp is riding a one-game homerless streak (as is James Loney, I might add); Kemp's longest homerless streak this year is three games (April 10-12). Meanwhile, Jurrjens has failed to last longer than five innings in any of his three outings while surrendering five homers in 13 1/3 frames and allowing opponents to bat .362. I'm betting Kemp goes yard again this evening. (I'm not betting on Loney to go deep, however.)

As a bonus, SoSG Orel will be there at the Stadium tonight (assuming he can find his anorak and earmuffs). Drop a comment in the thread if you'll be there too, so you guys can share some hot chocolate together; it's a little-known fact that Orel always travels with mini-marshmallows at the ready. (Don't tell Juan Uribe.)

UPDATE 7:35p: Here's a shot from the Stadium from SoSG Orel, framing Chavez Ravine at dusk:
