Well, shit.
Don Mattingly: Matt Kemp felt some tightness in his right hamstring and will slow down his rehab.
— Los Angeles Dodgers (@Dodgers) September 6, 2013
More bad news piled on what had already been a disastrous season for Matt. You really gotta feel for the guy at this point. I'm sure we were all looking forward to him adding firepower to an already stacked lineup for the stretch run. Now, I know this doesn't exactly rule him out for the playoffs, but I think we'd all prefer a 100% healthy Kemp in 2014, rather than rushing him back to a team that's already winning without him.
On the other hand, maybe it pays to have a gimpy outfielder in the World Series...

Says several things to me:
Are we convinced he wasn't on the juice a few years ago, and, now off, is going the sort of Troy Glauss route?
Maybe he should wait for 2014.
Did he peak and we're now going to see the downside of his career?
What is he doing to not keep himself fit enough to play long term?
Is he made of glass?
Are they shutting him down so quickly just so they won't have to cope with tough decisions the next couple of weeks?
Don't mean to be accusing or cynical, but it really is time to ask (and perhaps fairly answer in the negative) some of these questions.
And you're drunk. Let's not gloss over that.
I am, indeed, glossed over.
Now Donnie won't have to decide which one of his outfielders he dislikes most and replace him with Kempster.
Angelenos, don't hate me but it's sunny and cool in Dearborn, and a bit breezy. So nice!!!
Great post and Gibby reference, Gnomes
This season is depressing.
