Wow, that's really impressive. Two separate 50-game suspensions in one year have never happened to the same team, let alone a World Series winner. (Update: I've been corrected, the Giants had a 50-game suspension for one player, and a 100-game suspension for another player.)
You keep on cheating, Giants! That's the Giant Way!

I'm puzzled as to why the media isn't bringing this up more.
Yup.
Also, who besides Melky?
Mota
Two 50-game suspensions in the same year. I can't recall another team that has even had two.
edited post to drive the point home
Are you saying Melky had an impact? I thought milkmen was just an antiquated city ordnance.
Mota was a 100 game, second violation.
Oh, right.

@sosgsosg why is only one writer brave enough to say this? https://www.advertiser-tribune.com/page/blogs.detail/display/1109/Is-This-World-Series-Tainted-.html
Obviously, unless you ignore the steroids and only focus on the feel-goody story of the scrappy Giants, then you hate America.
I hate America.
This isn't the America I thought I knew.
hateHateHATE!!!
I'm pretty sure MLB has told reporters, "Look, if you want access to players and coaches then no stories about the steroids. It's bad for bizness. Luka Brasi sleeps with the fishes. Capisce?!" Especially after the whole Lance Armstrong thing.
I had no idea about Mota. This is just infuriating!
Love Mota's response to his suspension in '06. Apparently PED baseball players are as trustworthy as politicians.
Fuck this right in the earhole.
Wake me up when the universe is done trying to piss me off.
I'm glad this whole thing is over. Can't wait for the 2013 Dodgers to beat the scrap out the Giants.
GO BLUE!!!
I blame Frank McCourt
I blame the dessicated remains of Al Davis.
“I used extremely poor judgment and deserve to be held accountable. To my teammates and the entire Mets organization, I am sorry. I truly regret what I did and hope that you can forgive me. . . . To baseball fans everywhere, I understand that you are disappointed in me, and I don’t blame you. I feel terrible and I promise this is the first and last time that this will happen.”
If anyone was wondering what the quote was.
I not-so-secretly hope that another key Giants contributor has tested positive for roids during the playoff run and that the public just hasn't been informed of it yet.
I'm sorry, is there a team other than the Dodgers in California worth talking about? I don't think so...besides, it's time for the big quake to break the state in half and take the lying, cheating, ugly Shitty by the bay outta here forever...
Prince Fielder just popped out again.
As promised, I didn't watch a single pitch, but I felt the collective Dodger shudder.
They should re-name Hurricane Sandy after Prince Fielder. Then it wouldn't hit anything.
I think Prince should stick to guitar playing/song writing.
