DODGERS 14, BREWERS 4
Well, it was a breakfast baseball game, and Yasmani Grandal clearly ate his Wheaties. (Ugh. I feel like that joke really dates me.) Yaz was on base all six times today, including TWO 3-run homers and a 2-RBI double. Grandal's 8 RBI is the most by Dodger in a single game since (Free) James Loney went bonkers at Coors Field way back in 2006. The legend of Alex Guerrero also continued to grow, as he hit a (then) game-tying solo shot in the 2nd.
Sure, it would have been nice to share some of these runs with Kershaw and Wieland, but we'll take it. 10-run drubbings are always fun.
Enjoy the win now, everybody, since Mother Nature's looking to ruin the series in Colorado this weekend.

@spnk (from the GT): is there another dodgers trade in play?

Yay Grandal the Chosen
@spnk: whew! thought Dre had been traded there
@Gnomes: brilliant pgt
@ Saxy
Fuck Dre!
don't get your hopes up. he's only going to hurt you again like that girlfriend we all used to have or still do.
(cries)
Marlins 7, Giants 2 (Final). Former Dodger Dan Haren goes 7.0 IP with 3 Ks and 2 ER, plus he has a two-run double. Former Dodger Dee Gordon, batting leadoff for the Marlins at .437, went 3-for-5 with 1 RBI and a couple of nice double plays on defense.
I will stop calling him "Jasmine" now.
